FOUNDER OF GRIPH & PROJECT GRIPH
WHO IS THE WOLF RANGER?
Daniel Curry, also known as The Wolf Ranger, is the founder of GRIPH (Guarding the Respective Interests of Predators & Humans) and our non-profit arm, Project GRIPH.
After 20 years of working with wolves in the wild and in sanctuaries and zoos around the country, Daniel learned how to apply his knowledge of wolf behavior and non-lethal, aversive conditioning methods to help ranchers protect their livestock from wolves and other predators.
Daniel’s passion in helping both animals and humans “co-thrive” together led to creating the first and only social enterprise in Washington state that focuses on human-wildlife conflict mitigation using non-lethal methodology. These methods are used by our team of range riders to help foster connection & build bridges between our rural communities and their animal neighbors.
Daniel’s work has been featured in the award-winning documentary, Range Rider, PBS and various publications around the globe. You can watch and learn more about Daniel and his work by checking out podcasts, interviews, and documentary films in Press.
You can bring Daniel to your classroom, retreat, or your organization as a speaker for illuminating and engaging conversations. We will work with you on your needs to facilitate an open-hearted approach to learning.
Speaking engagements are offered both in-person and virtually. Visit us at GRIPH via the button below for more about Daniel’s story and information and let’s get talking!
